Ashford House is a large 1930’s detached family house that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. A family run Bed and Breakfast within 10 minutes walk of the centre of the picturesque Cathedral City of Wells, offering superb views of the Mendip hills.

Jayne and Frank who own and run Ashford House have had many years experience in Bed and Breakfast and have been awarded 4 Stars and a coveted Silver Award for Guest Accommodation under the new ratings system from Quality in Tourism, the assessment service for VisitBritain (formerly the English Tourist Board).  So you are guaranteed a warm welcome, a good night's sleep and most important of all a hearty breakfast. Cyclists and walkers are welcome and one of our rooms is suitable for small well behaved dogs but please ask first. We always try to make our guests stay pleasant and as relaxed as possible.

Off street and private car parking is provided at the front of house.  Secure lock up facilities are available for bicycles and outdoor equipment.
